This paintng depicts "Kever Rachel" , which in hebrew translates to the Tomb of Rachel. It  is the first painting I've ever done in tribute to our Matriarch, and I spent hours working on the color palette. Doing justice to the importance of this biblical charachter was a dauting task, but I am so happy with the result. 
 
Rachel is the spiritual matriarch of the Jewish people who are scattered throughout the world. Rachel is the example of the cry for the spiritual and physical return of all Jews. Rachel is she who refuses to be comforted until the ingathering of her children is realized (see Jeremiah 31:14).
