THE ISRAEL SERIES

This body of original work was inspired by Katie Jacob’s photography, a collection of images spanning across Israel. Paying homage to the beauty of Israel, this medley of watercolor pieces brings Israel to life with vibrant colors & scenery. Each painting tells a story of a moment in time with a deep rooted feeling.

Given the heartbreaking and on-going war in Israel, 50% of proceeds of this collection will be donated to an organization that does it all- Magen David Adom. MDA is Israel's national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service. MDA has a staff of about 33,000 EMTs, paramedics, and first-aid providers (30,000 of them volunteers). When you support Magen David Adom, you are helping save lives.

If you are able, please help us to raise money for the people of Israel, and in return you’ll have a piece of Israel in your home forever.

I traveled to Israel for the first time in 2019 and I was overwhelmed by the beauty. Though not a photographer by profession, I found such joy in photographing it all — the powerful history, the architecture, the flowers, the mountains and the cities, and most importantly, the beautiful people and souls who call Israel home. From the second you step foot in Israel, you feel a sense of belonging. Which is why my heart has been broken since the morning of October 7th.

I knew I wanted to do something to help, and partnering with Chaya on this project has been a bright light among the darkness. This is a project of hope and resilience, highlighting the spirit that is Israel. Thank you for your support.

As an artist, I believe in the power of art to heal, to inspire, and to bring communities together. 'The Israel Series” is not only a reflection of my personal connection and love for Israel, but also serves as a symbol of hope and unity in the face of tragedy. The Jewish people have faced persecution throughout millennia, and as they say in Hebrew, “ There is nothing new under the sun”. Our resilience is weaved into our existence, and an inherit power to trasnform pain and continue on. The nation of Israel lives, Am Yisrael Chai.

This message has never been more prevalent in our turbulent world , but we have the power to trasnform and uplift those around us. My biggest hope is that whoever collects these artworks will feel the immediate connection to the land and their Jewish heritage.

 Thank you for your support.
